Saija, Being a Tucsonan for 57 years I have developed a fondness and longing for snow on the desert. It is such a huge change from the usual desert weather. You know its been a heavy snow when it starts to wrap the saguaros in white as you have here. VERY NICE! JERRY

Many thanks Jerry :)! This was definitely an exciting day in Tuscon as the snow started to fall and did it ever fall on this day. It was incredible to watch the desert covered in white in such a short time and then to watch it start melting almost as fast. We drove down from Phoenix hoping for some snow, never expecting that it would be a blizzard. The storm greeted us with quite the canvas of beauty.
