This is a strikingly beautiful work. Look at the detail...but then the dramatic overall. The shadows dropping in just the right place...Love it. Pelicans! Do you know the frivolous poem by Ogden Nash? A wonderful bird is the pelican. His beak can hold more than his belly can. He can hold in his beak, enough for a week, and I don't know how in the hell-he-can. Forgive me...I didn't mean to take from the serious beauty of your work!
